Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VarrockExchange (the "Site"), operated by Jordan Basque, a sole proprietor in Alberta, Canada, doing business as VarrockExchange ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The Service
VarrockExchange provides informational tools for the Old School RuneScape Grand Exchange, including price tracking, flipping margins, calculators, watchlists, alerts, and a portfolio tracker. The Site is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with Jagex Limited (see our Disclaimer).
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to register. You may delete your account at any time.
3. Free, Trial, and Premium Plans
- Free. Core features are available at no cost, supported by advertising.
- Free trial. We may offer a time-limited free trial of Premium (currently 3 days) that requires an account. One trial per account.
- Premium subscription. Premium is offered as a recurring subscription (currently US$2.99/month or US$29.99/year). Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may change with notice.
- Ad-supported Premium time. We may let you earn temporary Premium access by viewing advertisements. This is provided at our discretion and may be changed or removed.
4. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation
Paid subscriptions are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your full payment-card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not pro-rated.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure; attempt to bypass usage limits, access controls, or security; scrape or overload the Site or its data sources; resell or redistribute the Site's data or paid features; or use the Site in violation of any law or of Jagex's game rules and Terms of Service.
6. Data and Accuracy
Market data comes from the Old School RuneScape Wiki and its API and is provided for informational purposes only. It may be delayed, approximated, or inaccurate, and relates solely to in-game virtual items with no real-world value. Nothing on the Site is financial advice. See the Disclaimer for full detail.
7. Intellectual Property
The Site's own design, text, and software are owned by us. "Old School RuneScape", "RuneScape", "Jagex", and related names, logos, and assets are the property of Jagex Limited and are used for identification only. Wiki-sourced data remains subject to the wiki's licensing.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site, including in-game losses or missed profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US$50.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms or where necessary to protect the Site or other users. You may stop using the Site and delete your account at any time.
10. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date, and your continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
